MELOGUITARS | NEWS
Josep Melo’s family background allows him to combine intellectual work with craftsmanship. From a very early age he was obsessed with making guitars: as he grew older they went everywhere with him and he began to build up a collection. Apart from playing them he also studied their form, their design, their sound, the wood they were made from… The collection grew and so did his knowledge which was clearly contributed to by his training as a designer, and this afforded him a rigour in his work and in his thinking.

Musikmesse 2009 (Frankfurt). We are very pleased to introduce:

CUBIC Combo Amplifier

A new combo amplifier model will be released at Frankfurt Musikmesse 2009. This amplifier will answer the long time request of the musicians for a lightweight, portable high quality medium power all tube amplifier.

The amplifier is built around our high quality standards which include point to point wiring, solid spruce wood cabinet, special 10″ ALNico Weber speaker, inox chassis and premium grade passive components.

The beautiful CUBIC amp weights only 12 Kg and has a very small size (35x35x35 cm).

Versatility is the key: thanks to his 25 watt of pure tube tone this little amplifier will perform in ANY situation from rehearsal sessions to small stages and clubs. Furthermore an external speaker is provided so you can hang one or two of our CUBIC SPEAKER MODULE (CSM) and see what your 25 watts can do in medium and even more larger stages.

His single channel will fit ANY guitar from classic single coils to raw humbuckers and obviously will shine with Jazz archtops.

Our amplifier has a simple preamp with very complex tones that will help you to express your musical ideas easier. The BIG sound and WIDE projection of the little CUBIC amp will surprise you.

A 25 watt all tube small sized lightweight amplifier with this quality is a rare beast and if you are a serious busy musician you should give our amplifier a try, You will not be disappointed.
